This painting is a combination of styles to create a new, hybrid artform. I have combined an acrylic pour with an impressionistic image which enables me to make the surfer appear to be surfing in an abstract wave. This is a new form of art which I feel that I have created and am excited about the possibilities for future paintings in this style.
