In this piece I have re-created the moment when a sailor onboard one vessel sights the sails of another. Meetings at sea are momentous occasions as news can be passed, supplies exchanged and just a chat to pass the time. This painting has been created using only professional grade acrylics on un-stretched canvas. The surface has been given a coat of art varnish. The overall size of this piece is 16X20 inches or 40X50 centimeters.
