This painting was inspired by my brothers announced retirement from a lifetime spent at sea. These boats will not be returning to sea. Hence, their sterns are facing the ocean. This painting has been create using professional grade acrylics which produce deep and vivid colours and maintain their colour integrity for many, many years. It has been made in fine quality canvas and has been given a top coat of artist grade water varnish. The overall size of the piece is 16X20 inches or 40X50 centimeters.
